We would like to remind caretakers that Operation Catnip offers its monthly spay-neuter clinic free of charge for feral and unowned cats that will not be subsequently homed or adopted.  Although we do encourage caretakers to make a tax-deductible donation to help us cover the cost of clinic supplies, no individual is authorized to offer clinic space for a fee.  Anyone determined to be doing so will permanently lose the privilege of using all Operation Catnip resources.  It is always best to make donations directly to Operation Catnip in the form of a check or, if in cash, donations should be made directly to an authorized volunteer.  Please do not hesitate to contact us via e-mail at opcatnip@nc.rr.com if you have reason to believe someone is or is attempting to offer Operation Catnip clinic space for a fee or personal gain.  Thank you for your cooperation.

Catnip Connection Spay-Neuter Vouchers.  When funds are available, Operation Catnip-Raleigh offers subsidized vouchers for $25 to be used at participating veterinarians under the same conditions that apply to our monthly clinic (i.e. cat must be in a trap, cat’s ear must be cropped, etc.).  There is a limit of 5 vouchers per person and vouchers expire 90 days after they are issued.  You may email opcatnip@nc.rr.com for more information or mail a check payable to Operation Catnip to:  Catnip Connection Voucher Program, P.O. Box 90744, Raleigh, NC  27675 with instructions on where your vouchers should be mailed.  Please note that we will not issue vouchers unless a valid address, daytime and/or evening telephone number accompanies the request.
